Tech Demo 2 is now on TP. Improvements, lovingly Ctrl+CVed from what I wrote in its game description, are as follows:-

- Entrance sequence and death sequence now exist. The element enters levels with a big shiny light (see screenie) and explodes into eight segments + sparkles when dead.

- Background displays the way it moves to simulate planes.

- PRESS ANY KEY fades in with the title. This will exist in the full version, but will of course have a menu afterwards.

I like the old HUD better, the new one looks more simply for my taste.

yeah the older one looks nicer from the screenies

NALs don't do technical terms, but if they did, they'd probably be the best technical terms in the world.

TD3 will be after I've made several more things, including remaking the gravity-warping and forcefield-generating elements (from AuX), maybe making a new element (this can come later though), and making some levels.

If you want an idea of a new mechanic I'm trying, it's blocks which change your power mid-level. They won't be common but it might mean, for example, having to go back through a level, completing it in a different way to get to the exit. Or it might be choosing your favourite power and going through a multi-route level taking the path you need to take. I'm going to ditch the linearity Elemence AuX had (in AuX, all of one power's levels came, then all of another's).

*bumpification maximus*

Level T.1 (the demo level) is one of the tutorial levels. I thought I'd show a help box in effect with a screenshot.
